COMPANY NEWS Christmas Party 2023 Scenes from the Gerken winter holiday event. More than 450 holiday revelers attended the annual Gerken Christmas party on Saturday, November 18, 2023. Held at the Glass City Center in downtown Toledo, the event featured a casino theme. Partygoers could play betting games—wagering “Gerken Bucks” containing President Brent Gerken’s likeness—and win raffle prizes. There was a plated sit-down lunch, followed by the presentation of this year’s service awards. Then Brent recognized his father, Julian Gerken, for observing 45 years in the asphalt paving industry.
