The Gerken Companies is proud to partner with Black Swamp Football to present the Gerken ROCK-SOLID PERFORMANCE of the Week Award (Hoops Edition) to area high school boys and girls basketball teams whose latest game-day efforts showed extraordinary efforts.

Women

The Patrick Henry Lady Patriots bounced back from their third loss of the season with wins over Liberty Center and Fairview. Their only defeats have come at the hands of strong teams: Miller City (17-2), Ottawa-Glandorf (20-0), and Liberty-Benton (15-4). They are set to host unbeaten Delta, with both teams at 5-0 in the Northwest Ohio Athletic League, and the winner securing at least a share of the championship.

Men

Genoa extended its unbeaten season to 16-0 with three more victories last week. The Comets triumphed over Fostoria with a score of 79-38 and then defeated LaGrange Keystone 74-69. This week, they added another win by routing Northern Buckeye Conference rival Oak Harbor with a score of 79-52.
