More than 450 holiday revelers attended the annual Gerken Christmas party on Saturday, November 18, 2023. Held at the Glass City Center in downtown Toledo, the event featured a casino theme. Partygoers could play betting games—wagering “Gerken Bucks” containing President Brent Gerken’s likeness—and win raffle prizes.

There was a plated sit-down lunch, followed by the presentation of this year’s service awards. Then Brent recognized his father, Julian Gerken, for observing 45 years in the asphalt paving industry.
